Chris Alberti, owner/humble cook along with Caleb Pearce create hearty dishes with European countryside influences. All ingredients are mindfully sourced using local/regional and organic wherever possible.
The menu changes seasonally, except for a few frequently requested favorites and mainstays: Peasant Meatballs and Cassoulet are among those. The Meatballs are braised in marinara with red wine, red onion and garlic. The Cassoulet is a rich, slow-cooked stew of white beans, chicken, sausage and pork. Unique and surprising blends of herbs and spices enhance nightly specials like: Confit, Seared Duck Breast, Pork Osso Bucco, Oven Roasted Rainbow Trout.
All desserts are house-made and include Peasant's Prunes by Chris, prunes poached in red wine, cinnamon and sugar served warm over mascarpone.
